 How important is one's reputation? What can you tell about a person based on his/her reputation?

I think that one's reputation is very important. I can tell if they are nice or that I shouldn't even be around.

That is right, you really cannot tell people's characters from their reputations. How can you tell what more they really be out of people's sight.

Ones reputation is very important. You can tell what type of person someone is just by the reputation.

I do not think so. Reputation is what other people see in you, but they do not see it all. They do not really know what you think or what you are inside.

It is important in a level, because it is a thing other people can judge you even they do not know you. By the way, I think, people should not judge a person by only his/her reputation, they do not really know him/her.
